The terms governing access to Casual Criminalist, newsletter sign-ups, merchandise purchases, and use of our editorial products.

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Casual Criminalist, operated by Fulcrum Enterprises IV s.r.o. (“we,” “our,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
2. Description of Service
Casual Criminalist provides online articles, videos, and related digital content covering true crime, criminal investigations, criminal justice, and forensic science, together with a merchandise store offering physical goods.
All editorial content on the Site is available free of charge. Newsletter sign-ups are optional and may be cancelled at any time. Merchandise is sold separately.
3. Merchandise & Fulfillment
- — The Casual Criminalist store is powered by Fourthwall, Inc., which provides the storefront, payment processing, and order fulfillment.
- — Merchandise prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Shipping costs and any applicable taxes are calculated and disclosed at checkout.
- — You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Delivery timelines depend on product, fulfillment partner, and destination.
- — Fourthwall acts as a service provider on our behalf. Your purchase contract is between you and Fulcrum Enterprises IV s.r.o.; Fourthwall is not a party to that contract.
4. Refunds & Returns
Refund eligibility for merchandise follows Fourthwall's return and refund process, and refunds are issued by Fourthwall to the original payment method. For order-specific questions or to initiate a return, contact us at contact@casualcriminalist.channel.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- — Copy, redistribute, or publicly display Site content without our prior written consent.
- — Use the Site for any unlawful, defamatory, or harmful purpose.
- — Impose excessive load on our servers or otherwise interfere with normal Site operation.
- — Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or any related systems.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these rules.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials on Casual Criminalist — including text, graphics, videos, audio, and trademarks — are the property of Fulcrum Enterprises IV s.r.o. or its licensors.
No content may be copied, modified, sold, or reused without express written permission.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.

The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prague.
